Draft — pending legal review. These terms are a good-faith working draft and have not been reviewed by a qualified attorney. Do not treat them as final legal advice.
LaunchPad helps you provision servers on Hetzner Cloud, deploy applications with Kamal, and manage PostgreSQL databases and backups. We provide the control plane; the underlying servers, networks, and storage are operated by third parties (notably Hetzner and Backblaze) under their own terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and must comply with the terms of any third-party provider you connect (for example, your Hetzner and Backblaze accounts).
LaunchPad does not resell Hetzner or Backblaze capacity. Those providers bill you directly for the servers and storage you create, and LaunchPad adds no markup to them. You are responsible for those charges, including for servers that remain running after you stop using LaunchPad.
LaunchPad offers a free tier and paid plans. Prices shown on our pricing page are in South African Rand and exclude 15% VAT unless stated otherwise. Paid plans, when introduced, will be billed on the terms presented at checkout.
You may not use LaunchPad to host or distribute unlawful content, to attack or disrupt others' systems, or to violate the acceptable-use policies of the underlying providers. We may suspend accounts that put the platform, its providers, or other users at risk.
You retain ownership of the applications and data you deploy. While LaunchPad automates backups and verified restores, you are responsible for confirming that your backups meet your own recovery needs. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for losses arising from third-party provider outages, your own configuration choices, or data loss where backups were not correctly configured. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under South African law.
You can stop using LaunchPad and delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Deleting your account removes your LaunchPad records but does not, by itself, shut down servers running in your Hetzner account.
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated before they take effect. These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of South Africa. (Confirm governing-law and jurisdiction wording with counsel before launch.)
